BMW 7 Series Neiman Marcus Edition featured on Today Show

BMW’s latest gimmick, the $160,000 7 Series Neiman Marcus Edition, has been featured on the popular Today Show. Just a couple of weeks ago, BMW together with NM revealed a 2009 BMW 750Li model designed by the famous BMW Individual team for the Neiman Marcus brand.
As mentioned before, there are only 31 units built and they were available to order starting on October 16, just a month before the official unveiling at the L.A Auto Show.
I don’t have a video to embed here, but the friends at Jalopnik have some footage from the Today Show.

Posted: 18 Oct 2008 01:30 AM CDT One of the most common request in our survey was for us to focus on some BMW tuning, modding and any other “look improvements”. So, we listened to you and we started looking for some great photos. Our friends at Bimmerforums, which btw is an amazing forum, had a big topic filled up with BMW Z3 roadster photos. It doesn’t cease to amaze me how committed and passionate the BMW community really is and the following “then and now” pictures will illustrate that. And since yesterday our article on the matte black BMW X6 made the headlines of several auto blogs, I thought I will start the first round of photos with a matte black BMW Z3. Then: Now: Then: Now: Then: Now: Then: Now: Then: Now: Then: Now: Then: Now: Then: Now: Then: Now: I hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I did and I would also like to thank the following forum members: dion, IslandS62, fmcfad01, BlueM3Racer, Nivola, MatteBlackCoupeDude, 2kredz3, IRPancake, MiguelACA and HellrotZ § No related posts. |

Posted: 17 Oct 2008 04:47 PM CDT With the abundancef o BMW Z4 photos in the past few days, we forgot about the other BMW’s concept, that will be unveiled within the next few months: BMW PAS, short for Progressive Activity Sedan. The five door crossover, as we heard recently, the BMW PAS will be marketed as a model between the 2010 BMW 5 Series and the 7 Series, of course, importing many design cues from the recently revealed BMW 7 Series. Pricing will be set accordingly, which will make it a quite expensive model. As far as the engine options, the usual suspects will most likely make its way into the engine lineup: the award winning 3.0 liter twin-turbo, along with its diesel counterpart, and a V8 engine(no details on that yet). What’s new in these photos? Well, not a whole lot, but compared to the previous shots, the taillights are revealed a little more, an L-Shape, pretty large in size. We also know that it will be longer than the X6, measuring around 192.91 inch. Now, I’m wondering if bellow the rear roof camouflage is hidding a coupeish design similar to the X6. Ind-Distribution’s new BMW M3 E90 Project
Posted: 16 Oct 2008 09:59 PM CDT
Ind-Distribution is famous for their BMW projects and especially, the ones that involve the E90 or E92 M3s. Back in April, they were featured on many BMW related forums or websites with their BMW M3 Coupe modding project.
Ind-Distribution guys are based out of Illinois, so I had the opportunity to meet them at car events, such as Lux5 Luxury Car Show that too place this summer in Chicago and where they showcased a modded BMW 135i along with a beautiful white M3.
So here they are, a few months later and a new project completed, but this time, better than ever. What did they do this time? They simply took a BMW M3 E90 Sedan and turned it into a “beast”.
But, let’s leave the photos speak for themselves.
One day old and 42 miles logged…the modding begins…

WOW….Now that’s a cool looking X6
Posted: 16 Oct 2008 10:40 PM CDT
Thanks to a tip from Jurgen, I’m going to show you one of the sexiest, hottest and most amazing BMW X6 I have seen so far. We all know by now that the X6 is an equally loved and hated bimmer. For ten people that are totally in love with the X6’s design, I can find another ten, that simply hate it and don’t see the purpose of it.
But let’s not get into the “hatorade” issue tonight and let’s focus on what Jurgen has sent us, photos of a BMW X6 in a blackish, dark grey color. The Sport Activity Coupe was spotted in a garage in Austria and the color looks simply “hawt”, like Miss Paris Hilton would say.
The black wheels complete the already perfect image and it leaves me wondering if this is a customer job or….yes, it has to be a customer job, since I have not seen a color remotely close to this one, in none of the BMW catalogs.
Do you dig it? Let’s see a photoshop of this color on other models, X1 for example. Any takers?
